Ulm School of Design

The Ulm School of Design (HfG) was founded in 1953 by Inge Aicher-Scholl, Otl Aicher, Max Bill and others and existed until 1968. It is internationally considered as the most important School of Design after Bauhaus. It had an excellent international reputation and was precursor and model for future study courses in design at universities as well as for the job description of the graduate designer.
